Hi All, I am looking for a pool maintenance person to help me maintain my pool. I do not want to pay a 6 months contract up front, would rather pay on a month by month basis, and a reasonable amount. I live in esentepe, near to the Golf club. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks Tangerineman for the info. Sorry should have stated that the pool has already been commissed long time ago, and I do have the chemicals already, as my ex used to maintain the pool when we lived in the villa. Then the tenant did the pool himself, but they have moved out now. So I am back living there, but to be honest have no clue about the pool, only that it is lovely to swim in . £60 a month seems a little expensive, is there anyone else who can do it for less?? Thanks again

Hello carmel. Ive forgot how big your pool is. But for a zerochlor pool fees are. 8 x 4 = 50 to 55 pounds per month 10 x 5 = 55 to 60 pounds per month

Try Neptune pools, they do a complete job, not just the cleaning, They repair, put in pumps at their own time, and no extra bills for you to pay if your pump breaks down... As we live in GB most of the year, it is so reassuring to know our pool is always a 'no hassle' for us...... Neptune pools has Kristina who is English, and very forward thinking and her hubby who is NCypriot..... They are based in Girne...

| message 13. Hippo octopus do not sell ZERCHLOR. Who ever told you this is tacking the chlorine out of you. i have only 1 agent selling my product/Brand/Zerochlor. splash pools/sunset beach.he will be my agent. All other companies who may be selling it ,they have bought stolen goods.86 boxes of my products was stolen.almost 25000 pounds retail price. The pig who ever he is will be caught.Who ever he is who stole it !! Any 1 who is selling it and i dont know about is selling stolen goods.and goods being sold with out a original futura, invoice from zerochlor. others selling zerochlor that i know about have got stock left over from last year. this is ok. octopus do not sell zerochlor or stock it Hippo. vaughan is only a admirer of the product. i know octopus do not own any zerochlor product.although he does sell a almost non chlorine machine to sanitise your pool..aligator system which is very good . | Pool Maintenance recommendation All pool companies are good in there own ways.As long as you are happy with what is being done to your pool!!! There is in my vision only one way to maintaine a pool in the 21st century. Thats the zerochlor or non chlor way. Chlorine is dated.Thats a fact.its done its job for the last century. Im so sure its run its course, and before long, every one will realise and come to know about non chlorine products, copper and silver based pool sanitisers. You can buy poolsan online at £62 a litre . You can buy zerochlor at £22 a litre in cyprus There are many alternatives to purchase,i suppose it depends how deep your pockets are.! Zerochlor has been recognised by a very green agency and given a grant.with this grant we pass the grant onto the customer and are now able to sell zerochlor at a massive discounted price until the grant is used up,maybe enough grant left for 100 more customers, approx! Happy chlorine free swimming folks. |

Both Hippo and David are correct. Hippo is right - Octopus Pools offers maintenance contracts where the use of legitamately purchased Zerochlor forms some of the chemical regime. We say some as we have concluded that Zerochlor does not need to be used in the winter when pools are not in use. During this season we use chlorine as the benefits of using Zerochlor are largely only appreciated by the swimmer during the swimming season. Chlorine maintains a pool perfectly adequately in winter and at the onset of spring/summer we switch back to Zerochlor. In this way we can cost effectively use Zerochlor in our customers pools. Zerochlor is a very good product and for the DIY pool maintainer it is almost foolproof. We thoroughly recommend Zerochlor to folk who want to take the uncertainty out of DIY pool maintenance. David is also right - Octopus Pools does not sell Zerochlor.

david123, Octopus do still maintain pools. We did not sell our maintenance business, our staff bought into it. Same lads, same days, same price, but they are now stakeholders, not staff.

I have used HMS for 4 years - never had a problem - pool always sparkling - and their reaction the day of the flooding absolutely brilliant - no damage to my pump. Highly recommend. Joan
