We had a fabulous meal last night and company was great. Well done Lilli and Guido you are our Number 1 restaurant, couldn't recommend you highly enough

Hi TheScarlets, why you are always going to get different opinions from people i do think putting these sort of posts on the board will do nothing but cause even more ill feeling between members. I think the current Guidos debate has run long enough and think its time for izzet to step forward and clarify the situation so that folk know what is what and put a stop to all this nonsence.

Unfortunatly by posting like this will alienate members who are genuinely fed up with the eating houses taking up so much of the forum. Things that you could say to Lili and Guildo after a wonderful evening, say it to them.

I do agree with cooper, Lili will only have more agro, which she does not need with the present climate!

Isn't it sad that people are so quick to jump on the bandwagon when they have a BAD meal out ,So what is wrong in complimenting a restaurant when you get a GOOD meal . When you get as many positive replies about Guidos , doesn't it tell you something ?? They have got it right !! I can't wait for my sunday lunch tomorrow !!!

How about we all compromise and go back to the way it was, people comment on whether or not they enjoyed a meal and those that might be interested can expand upon the post. Those that are not interested can either not read the original post or read it and realise they are not interested so then not comment.



I am getting really bored about people saying that it is too much, it is a forum folks. Whether you like it or not there will be posts you don't want to read, I don't read them because I don't find them relevant to my needs but if I want to know about a restaurant that I might choose to use, I read it. If I want to change to a new pool maint company , I read it. I don't read about pensions because I don't require to yet but I don't complain that there is a post about it.

I am surprised there haven't been some complaints about single sex posts. Or builders posts but then most of us choose to use the forum usefully

Yes I have been to Guidos and quite frankly it wasn't anything special. I would not come on here and slag it off to everybody as every restaurant has bad days.

i also have a busy life and have far more important things to do than spend my time telling 44 members how good or bad last night's meal was. Obviously you have very few interests in life other than supporting Guidos which is a shame.

Hold your own breath .....don't waste it on me !
