There is a small shop down on the promenade in Girne that does all things ceramic. We got ours from there.

You could also try the souvenir shop next door to Harbour Delight restaurant (In the Harbour!). The shop AJ refers to normally runs out out of the following digits: 1's & 9's. Don't ask me why.

Thank you. Think the shop you are referring to is the same shop that AJ has mentioned?

Obviously 1's & 9's must be the most popular numbers for some reason.

I need two numbers including a 1.

I may be blonde & from Essex but I am not falling for that one! Saying that we might have a 1 & 0 somewhere because we used to be a different number.

Slightly off topic I know but is there anywhere that does name plates for villas.

If you want to know why they run out of '1's, look here: - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benford%27s_Law

Are you talking about a wrought iron villa name or the tiled one's with letters on?

There is also a shop on the road leading from the Liman Casino up to the High St. They also sell stained glass lights. They are on the left opposite a shop that sells lilos.

There is a lady artist who has a stall in the Sunday market at Karakum, near the bowling alley who uses the old fashioned roof tile. She also can be found at the market held in Five Fingers restaurant.

She will paint them to your design.
