| Sorry if this question has been asked before, but is there a period of time allowed for me to drive on my UK licence until I get my TRNC licence organised. |

| 90 days, I believe, which happily coincides with the period normally given on a 'Tourist' Visa...
That's what the bloke at the Insurance company told me, anyway. |

| A hire car no problem but you have to get residency to apply for a TRNC licence for a local plated car |

| Thanks folks but is that 90 days after I arrived in TRNC or after I have bought a car I am only just buying a car even though I have been here for months |

| 90 days from your arrival in TRNC - & if I were you, I wouldn't even THINK about going South for a couple of hours 
You can have a TRNC driving licence in a couple of days, no hassle... |
