Insurance Claims - successful.....or not?

Following all the recent floods and damage etc, it would be very interesting to hear from anyone who has actually received a successful claim and good level of service from their Insurance Co recently, ie not just because they seemed great when you took the policy out, but actually dealing with a claim. And it would also be good to hear about bad experiences from companies to steer clear of.

Our pool and pump room got completely flooded out with mud. We emailed pictures to our insurance agent Steve Dickenson and the problems were dealt with as soon as the rains stopped. The pump was taken away and repaired, the pool emptied, cleaned thoroughly and refilled. Personally we could not fault the service that Steve provided. We felt that the matter was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
