| Snakes and me went in March (bit to cold then ha ha) and stayed at the Obelisk which is a Great Western hotel in the old city, in a quite cobbled street 5 minutes walk (and it was 5 minutes!!) to the Blue Mosque and Sofia etc. There is a restuarant on the roof with terrace over looking the Bosphorus, and from the other side of the roof terrace you can see the magnificent Blue Mosque. I booked through booking.com which did the cheapest deal, booking direct with the hotel was the most expensive way. We also got a free pickup from the airport. Next door but one is the The Dubb Indian restruarant which we visited several times. Hope this helps! |
