has anybody on here had to get planing permission for a car port,if so what was the cost,also can anyone recomend someone to build one either wood or metal.

If you have received your individual (parcelised) title deeds then you should not have a problem. If you want to erect a car port that is covered and you have not got your individual title deeds then leave the roof until the Land Registry office has been out to survey prior to parcelisation.
