| Hi all, This is the message posted on the IAA website; The large volcanic ash cloud which currently measures approximately 2,000 miles long and 1,400 miles wide is still positioned over the Atlantic from Greenland to the Iberian peninsula. This will continue to cause difficulty for some trans-Atlantic operations and operations into some areas of southern Europe. Most flights into and out of Portugal and Western Spain are cancelled. Flights from the Eastern Med will face long detours over Northern Europe. There is an excellent graphic on the UK Met Office website. DD |

| Thanks DD, It stated on yahoo news page earlier that London Stansted had cancelled flights but not according to CTA or Stansted airport site!! Local agent suggested telephoning a few hours before the fight is due to take off before travelling to the airport. |
