on last holiday about 3 weeks ago we kept seeing a sign opposite ilelis for turans on other side of road. drove down side road a few times to look at it and just looked like someones house and hardly saw anyone there. thought we would give it a try even though we didnt know anyone who hadbeen there or seen any writeups on message boards.



well its a little gem. turan lives there with his mother who does the cooking - she must be in her 80s and a lovely lady. we had a meze which was superb. plus dessert , 2 bottles wine, coffees and brandies. total of 140 lire for four of us. we sat outside in the garden - there is room for about 25-30 people .if you dont want the meze there is a varied selection of other food.

agree dave ,went couple of years ago and was excellent food and company ....real traditional

Well, sorry, but went there a couple of years ago and didn't rate it at all. Maybe will try again this year to see if it's better.
