Can someone please tell me where i can buy travel insurance, given the fragility of CTA it would be prudent to be covered for my flights in June. Thanks

Sorry, but I don't think that any insurance company will take you on because they will take the view that you have already booked flights with a 'Perhaps' doomed airline and are now only trying to cover your back. If you booked with a credit card, you should be covered by that.

Suzy Pat is correct. 1. Much travel insurance does not cover for scheduled airline failure (SAF) so you would not find it easy to get it. 2. If you know there might be a probelm (like with health) you would need to declare it or your insurance would be void. 3. Other cover may be available depending on where, how or who you bought through. With regard to your travel insurance we have a choice of insureres available on our http://www.flightholiday.co.uk web site both for travellers from the UK (including at the top level from ExtraSure with SAF). We also now have a travel insurance you can apply for if travelling from the TRNC (this is provided through one of the few brokers who are travel insurance pro's). For travellers from North Cyprus go to http://www.flightholiday.co.uk/Infinity_Insurance.php

If you are in the UK, Post office travel insurance covers scheduled airline failure as the norm. The prices are very very good and when I was mugged in Italy and lost all our cash, passports and missed our flights they paid out in full and very quickly. Unfortunately we cant use it now cos we are going t'other way.

Annie Msg 4 - If you need Travel Insurance travelling fom the TRNC have a look at our web site as we have some available - it is quoted on a person by person basis but I understand that it is reasonable. If you are travelling from the UK we can of course help too. Tom http://www.flightholiday.co.uk
