Benjamin Garden restaurant / Tavern is Now Open.



It is about 800 meters past the square on the mountain side of the road, sensible prices loacal fayre clean kitchen clean loos,



Lamb chops 14 ytl fish 12 ytl glass of wine 4 ytl.



I have not tried it yet but will soon, nice friendly people.

We had a meal there in the first week of opening, about 3/4 weeks ago, no menus at that time, but choice of steak, mixed/individual kebab, fish of the day, meze. Very helpful, friendly, clean, reasonably priced, total for 5 120ytl, this included drinks, meze, mains and a Cypriot pudding. The owner told us the restaurant is named after the Benjamin tree, he said he has these around the perimeter. Would recommend and will definitely be going again, felt as if we were in "real" Cyprus.



If you want English food/company one of the most reasonably priced is Hillside at Lapta!

yes agree graham Hillside is another value for money place.



Just had chicken salad small chips and just the 1 effes at club semina Karsiyaka I could not fault it brilliant, unusuall for me as well I could not finish it all total 12 yTL.

We went to Benjamin Garden Tavern a few weeks ago and had a meal. Nothing fancy just good honest cypriot kebabs served by a local family. Good value for money.
