Really enjoyed the film, great scenery and action. Interesting, towards the end it was stated that King Richard had taken the country to wars in the Middle East that had left the country totally bankrupt therefore taxes would have to rise. Does it ring a bell? just shows, no-one learns anything and nothing changes. AWW

The Cyprus story tells another tale; the rich rob from the poor to make themselves become even richer! Richard

Richard spent very little time in England as he was always going off on crusades which the English had to pay for. When he was taken prisoner by some Austrian ruler, his mother and others got everyone to pay the exorbitant ransome for his release. He didn't even speak English. Robin Hood, if he existed, was probably a century or two later. I believe they have used the voice of our Gaelic singer from Barra, Katherine McInnes, and that is the only reason I would like to see the film, but she must be singing in English! Very beautiful, (and earthy) voice.
