There is a lovely new small Alfa available in the UK - it is the Mito - is it available in North Cyprus?

Sandra from Landmark estate agents has (had) an Alfa - she would know about them.

You'll probably need an Italian mechanic sitting in the back seat everywhere you go - just to be on the safe side!

If there is aFiat dealer try them - as it Alfa's sister co - they may be able to get hold a Mito. My son (in the UK) has a bright yellow Mito Veloce - very nice too.

Sister, I thought Alfa was Fiat in disguise - or is it is Porsche!! Only joking, I used to get teased all the time when I had an Alfa. Great looking cars but the electrics drove me mad on my 166, always on the blink. In the end a mechanic told me it was probably best to ignore the warning lights!

Does anyone believe it's really worth having a decent car when driving around some of the roads here? My hubby used to have kittens driving a new car around some of the streets in the UK. He's have heart failure I'm sure after a week driving a new car here.

The car yards in TRNC are chocker with low mileage Jap. [ used] imports - here's some advice: don't bring one from UK to TRNC, unless you thrive on hassle.

Anyway, something like a 'Mito' is what is known in the trade as an 'orphan' - it'll be very hard to find the simplest parts for, and come 'change-in' time, you'll find it'll be 'like a wart on your you-know-what' - nearly impossible to get rid of!
