What's going on ? We are hotter here " day & night" than in North Cyprus. This is most unusual for late May surely?

It is still hot here but we have had very high winds all week which makes it feel cooler. It happens quite often actually.

Yes, papers are reporting that the Uk will be hotter than most of the Med. this w/end. Cooler (more normal!) from next week apparently.

Crazy volcano. Filthy stuff in the atmosphere . Unpredictable wind patterns. What IS predictable is that its now impossible to forecast weather conditions more than 36 hours ahead in the bulk of Europe.

It's supposed to rain here in Girne tomorrow. It's a bit chilly outside this afternoon. Why does it always get like this when I'm off ie. every weekend!! Why can't it pour with rain Monday to Friday and then be gloriously sunny on Saturday and Sunday??!!

Up here in Arapkoy I have my fleece on and have done for most of the last week, weather very changeable..infact since we got back in April it has been hit and miss.. :(

Not at all hot as it normally is for this time in May but makes walking around a lot easier. My computer declares it's 27C at time of posting, better than 37C!
