English speaking doctor wanted for maternity care?????

Does anyone know of a English speaking doctor in Girne who would be able to guide me through my first birth in the TRNC.



Need to know where to go and what to do, as so different from the UK procedures.



Any suggestions gratefully welcomed.

Try Dr Mryiam Allison she is just past the courts in Girne on the same side.

Also Medikent Hospital brilliant and they have a maternity unit brand new.

Dr Shilen is a lovely lady and has been in the uk for a few years and you would think she was english. She is based at the green clinic near to Sammy's hotel opposite molly's cafe in Girne twice a week and the rest of the time at the Medikent hospital in Nicosia . Her number is 05338328772 she will certainly be able to help you or steer you in the right direction. She has been brilliant in the past with me and has become a good friend.

Dr Shilen is a wonderful person and really good Dr who speaks brilliant English but as far as I know she is not an Obstetrician or Gynaecologist. If I am wrong I apologise.

My daughter is 4 months pregnant and under Dr allison, who she i very pleased with.

Dr Meryam Allison is great. She is a Gynaecologist and married to a Brit. She is really kind and caring and I go to her for "ladies" things so she would be perfect. She works from Jinomer in Girne just past the courtsl.
