I believe the only state one is on the way into town, I would imagine the rest are private, have used Ozel Hastenesi just along from the Pia Bella, very good, had a wait of five days for my op recently and was sent to Etik clinic in Nicosia. Good aftercare and a reasonable price for what I had to have done (two things done under one anesthetic)

Just doing a little research on what health care is available for any one who was considering moving to TRNC .

Feedback on experiences costs etc .

On a personal note fit and well so not looking for treatment .

Just a little research in what is available generally from the hospitals .

I understand a brand new hospital has opened recently any feedback on that one, location , is it a general hospital .? Any eye hospitals etc . Any feedback on private medical insurance ? is this worth it or just pay as you go etc . Cheers

Unfortunately we cannot be more specific with hospitals locations etc unless we know what people are looking for.



Anyone that wants info we give it free, but to list every disease, operation, condition, cost etc would take all 5 of us all of tonight and the best part of next week.



Yes more than one new hospital recently, yes to eye clinics, depends on health circumstances whether you 'pay as you go' or insurance.

By the way, you may come across more than one 'Özel Hastanesi' - Özel means 'Private' or 'Special', and Hastane / Hastanesi is 'Hospital'
