A friend has about £30,000 available in cash and wants to find a 'bargain' property in North Cyprus. Ideally an apartment with a minimum of 2 bedrooms, does anyone know of anything suitable? Many thanks, Tony.

No. I don't know if anything. Try the Estate Agents.

Not so long ago there was an apartment in Alsancak for sale for £25000 the agent was Re-Max. If you look on their website it might still be available. I was almost tempted to buy it myself. AJ

Funnily enough lots of people aren't. You don't need a whole country when you have the delights of Girne!!

Tony I trust your friend knows the dangers of buying in the TRNC? Can your friend afford to lose their £30k?

Tony, Property in the TRNC is cheap and will get even cheaper for a reason. Do some research and find out why. A good starting point would be to follow the auction thread, the Incesu housing thread and green Hiil thread. Just a few of buyers experience over the last week.
