A friend has about £30,000 available in cash and wants to find a 'bargain' property in North Cyprus.

Ideally an apartment with a minimum of 2 bedrooms, does anyone know of anything suitable?

Many thanks,

Tony.

No. I don't know if anything. Try the Estate Agents.

Hi Tony

This apartment is great value. Get your friend to check it and get back to us if they are interested.

Not so long ago there was an apartment in Alsancak for sale for £25000 the agent was Re-Max. If you look on their website it might still be available. I was almost tempted to buy it myself.

Thanks for the responses. I omitted to say that she is not interested in the Bogaz area.

Funnily enough lots of people aren't. You don't need a whole country when you have the delights of Girne!!

Tony

I trust your friend knows the dangers of buying in the TRNC? Can your friend afford to lose their £30k?

Tony,

Property in the TRNC is cheap and will get even cheaper for a reason. Do some research and find out why. A good starting point would be to follow the auction thread, the Incesu housing thread and green Hiil thread. Just a few of buyers experience over the last week.
