You may be able to do it yourself using your PC if you have a Video player and the right lead to connect to your computer, usually an S-Video connector..

Used a cameramate plug in system to tx all videos before leaving UK. Very quick and good quality transfer. Don't know if available over here though. Unfortunately, left it there as no video player here!!
