Sorry for being a nuisance but if something gets closed for a reason, why open it again for what appears to be more abuse?

I have never frequented the Queens Bar- is this the Old Corner Bar just up from the golden lady at Alsancak?



However people the owner is saying business is as usual so let the thread stay and do not be judgemental and even worse want to broadcast it. As the saying goes- throwing stones at glass houses springs to mind.



Im sure that if there was any assault then all parties have dealt with it like adults and life goes on.



If you do not want to return to this bar then fine but do you have to tell everybody- who do you think you are, the Pied Piper!!! that ALL will follow!!

Sorry to say this, but I do not condone any violence and I have seen my fair share but I find it very churlish to try to make yourselves look so important!!

I'm sure that the people who actually know the facts will have their chance to speak out in a court of law, which is where this should be discussed, not on this board. It is easy to take sides, put in your twopennorth but it is not for us to judge, go to the bar if you want, stay away if you want, but please let the powers that be deal with the matter.

There are two sides to every story.

I once worked in a solicitors office in England and I typed all of the divorce papers and it was hilarious. ie

She said 'he threw a knife across the room at me trying to stab me' he said,' I was angry and threw the letter opener in the air and it landed on the floor'

When you say 'I agree' what do you know - NOWT - there are 2 sides to every story - let the police do their job I am sure if there is a case for GBH etc then they will deal with it - stop pre-judging the situation.

And 2 wrongs don't make a RIGHT. IF, this was the case as stated above does that give the other guy the right to drive his car into another person - you don't appear to be judging him?????????

I am not Judging anyone, I voiced my opinion and withdrew my custom, I was acually very good friends with BOTH parties unfortunately now I can only consider myself a friend to one of the parties as a matter of principal.



You may think that the father may have been wrong in his course of action, having said that if anyone ever beats up my daughter then I will end up doing time, strange thing a father wanting to protect his siblings, some people can't understand that, well you obviuosly can't.

The saints !! perhaps you could get Alina to make sure she proceeds with all the charges,maybe take photographs and get her signed onto 44 and tell us her side of things....I have met her and she is a lovely girl. or lets just await the outcome of the court proceedings and findings...No way would any man get away with anything of the sorts over here and well,we all know this..My first marriage was full of violence i for one would understand.! But lets await the outcome please.!! It should not take that long.We are not judge or jury,but it seems that gossip IS.!!!! I'm with The Saints and Alsancak Jack on this. I don't think I will personally ever return to Cyprus Queen after reading the threads on here. I read what was in Cyprus Today and the reaction? No "they got it wrong, that didn't happen". Instead a simpering post about "my wonderful girlfriend" and then another asking for young, attractive staff. A pattern emerges. Then this one - "business as usual". Selfish.

And for those bleeding heart liberals, it's not alright to hit a woman. What seems to be in this thread is that "there were reasons". Not from where I sit. Where do we go next? It was alright to kill that person because they provoked me?

What the dad did was wrong, too. Exacerbated by his inability to hit the right target, instead hitting a police car.

You couldn't make it up.

And judge and jury comments? Best directed at Hakki, methinks, because he judged when she fell out of line, and doled out the punishment.

This is a pathetic thread that decent moderators would have closed a long time ago. Most of what has been posted here (including by me) is conjecture, the rest is for the courts. It brings C44 into disrepute.

It is not for Cyprus 44 to debate people's lives and actions. Do you honestly think that this is doing any of the persons involved any good at all. Do you really think they want their personal lives splattering all over the world. This has nothing to do with the purpose of this website and it's about time people stopped getting away with openly discussing people's private lives.
