| One of the transformers of Kib-tek burned out and you probably had a very very high voltage for a very short time. So probably all your electrical equipment developed a fault wholesale. For a reasonable protection at a very reasonable price for the future I suggest you buy 1. A surge protector (obtainable from Tektan) which you can plug into any socket and it will protect that particular ring i.e. if you have two fuses protecting the sockets, then you must have two surge protectors each plugged to a ring circuit for each fuse. 2. Elko Voltage Protector to be plugged into any socket to protect the whole house against high or low voltage but not very short surges as stated in (1) above. Obtainable from Tektan or Octopus Pools. ismet |
