Just to warn everybody, have recieved this email today.

It is not from HSBC so if you get one, do not reply or open the link.

I know most would not, but just incase somebody might I thought I would warn you all.

Not just HSBC - this is a problem that I see many times a day for RBOS BOS Barclays HSBC etc etc.

Be careful there are lots of false emails out there - know who you are dealing with on and off board.

I had one from Egg Credit Card... I never open any emails from Banks. I always ditch them and go straight to their website unsolicited.

The hook is always something along the lines of 'Security' blah blah blah... They have my number, if there is an issue they need to discuss they phone. Simple.

Like Groucho, I do not open emails from banks, if they want me they can ring me! Also, if its HSBC all mine come in Turkish which I cannot read anyway so anything in English is obviously a scam. Have tried and tried to get my emails in English .. and my text but to no avail.
