Hi Dave , would suggest contact HBPG Marrion Stokes probably has a file as thick as your wrist on them. If you paid a deposit pay nothing else until advised to do so. I know where the boss live's if you want to hire a ninja assasin, but the que at the front door is like Harrods on a boxing day. best of luck DN

Bought an apartment through them... They were only in contact with me for first couple of months then i heard nothing until the developer contacted me and then i was in direct contact with him. Haven't heard anything from them since christmas last year, however my apartment is all completed now so i can't complain too much! Hope everything works out ok with your villa.

Hi there Dave my villa should have been ready to move into march this year I was told the goverment had held up the building. When I was out in May I went down to the site myself and shock horror my villa was still a concrete shell, they have promised me I will see a big difference when I return in September. I now know he was having money problems but he has asured me that he is back on track and phase 4 will be completed asap. Any advice out there would be most helpful.cheers.

Dear All, I have just popped on to this lovely forum to fine that we have a few un happy customers on here...... Firsty Dave, you know your situation and as you want to share everything with these people we might as well share it with them too. You currently owe us £28,000, and you villa is completed, snagging completed, swimming pool completed, Electric has been there for years and now yours has been connected, you have mains water and you have been in complete contact us all the way through..... If you are that fussed about your villa then why haven't you given us a call. You can either call Firat on 0090 542 882 1869, this goes for anyone who feels that they have nothing better to do but gossip about Boyut Construction, because i am sure we can answer your questions better than DIxie Norman who wants to kill us....... We look forward to hearing from you all, anyone who wants a chat your very welcome and we do a really good cup of coffee in the office if you want to pop in. Have a lovely day. x

It is another old thread (2008) brought to the surface. However it goes to prove that the warnings regarding Boyut were there long before the problems surfaced. There are many on the forum that are requesting old threads, more than a year, can't be dragged back up. However they do stand as a warning that people are actually communicating future problems as opposed to scaremongering. Much good advice and warnings could be lost if this suggestion goes ahead. However it does allow those that wish to close their eyes to the frequent problems that exist with buying in the TRNC and continue to promote the TRNC as a safe place to buy and dismiss housing problems as "the odd site"

Anyone who has bought a property from Boyut, put Boyut Group into the search engine and have a laugh. Why cant the banks take their money out of this,as they cant be short of money with this lot.

Its about time all the Brits who have bought houses in North Cyprus and have problems with the builders or the Banks , started to get their heads together and formed a group to fight for what they payed for .instead of letting the banks government and builders take us all as bloody fools and do what they like to us .Collectively we would have a lot more clout to fight them, plus it will carry a lot weight instead of doing it individualy SO LETS GET ORGANISED

The answer to the original question is YES I have bought a Villa from Boyut. Am I happy with the final product and did they do as they said regarding snagging etc - yes I am happy with that. I am still waiting for my deeds, I bought in 2005, I have my PTP but yes there is an encumbrance haha yes it came to light after I had paid my Stamp Duty. However I have faith in Boyut and do believe what they have said is happening with the bank, the Bank does NOT want to Auction and I have been led to believe that the Bank has acquired all the unsold properties and some land as well as reducing the debt. I have not received ANY NOTIFICATION of impending Auction and feel its about time we stopped jumping to conclusions and making so many glib comments. My lawyer has confirmed more or less what I have said and thats good enough for me, I know there are a lot of problems with the whole Construction Industry but I am prepared to wait and see. I am not burying my head in the sand!!!!!

Gusanova....I sympathise with your situation and sincerely hope it turns out well. However, the fact that you "have not received ANY NOTIFICATION of impending Auction" may not be any comfort. Auction notices would be issued to the owner of the deeds ie Boyut......unfortunately in the TRNC your status ( despite paying in full and taking possession of a property) is not recognised.

Gusanova's post demonstrates all that is wrong, when problems occur with property purchase in the TRNC. He joins the many others that because they have had all snagging completed and have taken possession, consider all to be rosy and ignore the important fact that they have paid in full yet do not legally own this well snagged completed villa. In fact if we read between the lines we can see some very worrying information. Boyut have had since 2005 to hand over your title deeds? They have completed many other housing projects since, so why were the profits not used to pay the memorandums owed on your site? Why has this situation occurred on several of their sites? Why would you receive notification from the banks? You don't own your house, Boyut do.It is their assets the bank is after. I hope you are right and everything turns out well in the end Gusanova, However I doubt sitting back and waiting to see what happens is the best approach.

I have had my house since 2005 yes and why does everybody think there is such a gallop to get deeds. I have friends who bought their own lan and had their own house built and ...... still took 5 years to get deeds. Boyut have had problems as have most builders and a lot is self inflicted but I ask anyone of the wonderful 'campaigners' to produce 100% proof that all Boyut Houses are to be auctioned. You will not be able to do it , so stop causing alarm and despondency by only getting part of the story - YOU ARE THE ONES THAT IS ALL WHATS WRONG!!! (as I have been castigated in a previous post!) Yes I do take the yavas yavas approach and have no interest in joining any half baked rumour club.i respect the HBPG but what has it really achieved since its concept- not a lot , if it had then all would be a better place- we are in the TRNC not UK Both my Lawyer and Boyuts have informed me what the Banks plans are for the finance of the loan etc and auctions are not part of them.

what better way of raising more cash that from frightened purchasers. Gusanova, I really hope you are not pushing the idea that there should be no rush to gain a legal title to something you've paid for in full. So far I've only heard that from members of the construction industry, never from a purchaser.
