Does anyone know if there is a DHL (postal service) in TRNC.

Can't remeber if it was DHL, but there is a courrier service (I'm sure it is DHL) behind the new Kombos Merc dealership on the Nic ring road.

Go past the footy stadium, keep a look out for the garage (on the left), turn left immediately after, there is a small sign opposite the turing into the customs building pointing further down the road.

If not, there is one in Engomi just over the border, but can't remeber where, saw the sign once, but i am sure someone will now post its location.

If you use the one behind Kombos, please post how you get on so others know if to use it or not.

Yes there is DHL here. There is a FEDEX as well which is located in Nicosia i use them both.

we used the local post office in Alsancak (a bit nervously i admit). sent our legal stuff back to England registered and it arrived in around 10 days (about 25 ytl) if i remember rightly. Took a chance i suppose. DHL from England to our solicitor took 9 days.

It has been done, but not likely to turn up if anything valuable.

I wouldn't chance it.

Better of to see if anyone on the boards flying out soon, and if they are happy to do so, post it to them, and ask them to bring it out.
