Quite a few restaurants opened along the road out towards Esenetepe and beyond, all very good. Shops also in the finishing stages along with a new petrol station . Also a fab B/B nice food called Sinya operating walks in the countryside based on the way to Tatlisu. I feel sure you will run out of time before you visit them all . Car boot sales popping up at a few places . The brand new bowling alley on the new by pass is a wow factor . Enjoy your stay.

Gloria Jeans coffee house in Girne - on the left just past Astro if heading out towards Alsancack. If you take a right turn opposite and go down to the sea front you will also find that the Back in Time bar have opened an eaterie next door - well worth a visit.

If you like something a little more up-market, try No. 14 and Efendi, both in the Old Turkish Quarter in Kyrenia.
