Has any one ever rehomed the hunting dogs in NC? I came across a starving young bitch tied to a olive tree, she was so thin that I dont think she would have lasted many more days, I rang Kar and they picked her up.

She is now having treatment for worms and being fed up.(1 month ago).

This young bitch was really very beautiful, and will need a home soon when she has gained enough weight.

Is there any one out there who can give a home to this poor animal.

We took in a half starved Pointer (hunting dog) 3 years ago. They are wonderful dogs, very loving and loyal and more than happy to live outside (with a nice warm kennel of course).

I took on but not in an abandoned hunting dog about 4 weeks ago. He was in v.poor shape.

I wormed him, frontlined him and fed him up.

He is a lovely dog.

This morning at 6am someone put poison down outside my house (I saw them) and he ate it before I could stop him.

He collapsed and I was sure he was a gonner.

I don't know how but he recovered and ran off.

I hope he's there when I get home.

Someone has a thing about poisoning dogs in Malatya. The Belediye insists it's not them.

TRNC, I hope your dog is back and OK.... what possesses these people. Perhaps some of their own medicine might make them wake up and stop doing such a barbaric thing!

The young bitch we found was very near to its last days, I thank Kar for going to the rescue so fast...

But it would be just great if someone could have her for a gaurd dog and she would live outside in a kennel just fine.

He has turned up and apart from dry retching he seems OK. He certainly hasn't lost his appetite.

Amazing!

I'll have to chain him in my garden overnight now.
