Sunday 30th 6:00 Fishing with gaff competition

20:30 Festival Dance Night

Monday 31st May Fisshing competition awards ceremony followed @ 21:00 by Esentepe Music Group



Tuesday 1st June

Reception at village centre 18:00

Zerdali Festival International Folk-dance Festival Cortège @ 20:00 opening @ 20:30. Performances @ 20:45 representing TRNC, Turkey, Albania, South Osetia, Kazakstan, Poland and Romania.



Wednesday 2nd June

International Mr & Mrs Traditional costume competition @ 21:00



Thursday 3rd June

Show Tie 'Carisma Show' @ 21:00



Friday 4th June

The Black Sea Night

Hülya Polat & Gizem Kara Concert @ 21:00



Saturday 5th June

International Zerdali Folk-Dance Competition Gala Night @ 20:30



Sunday 6th

Ciguli Concert.

Although nothing is listed for Saturday 29th May, there is lots going on and I think the 29th is children's night.



There will be a general party atmosphere on each night and if you've never been it's not to be missed. Lots to see and buy, eat and drink...

I know what fishing is and I know what a gaff is but what is a 'fishing with gaff' competition? Sounds cruel!

Yeah, don't ask me, Their translation was 'Hunting with gaff'... but I guess it really means fishing with a hook as opposed to a net

There are all sorts of stall and stuff but the events in the wedding park are generally in the evening due to the heat etc.
