| It's a 'terrestrial' channel, you'll need an aerial, of some sort (the locals have a wide variety of styles and sizes!) pointed at the TV mast on top of the mountain and plugged straight into the aerial socket on the back of your TV - NOT into the satellite box... Set your TV to auto-scan, and it should find it, along with all the other (99% Turkish-Language) channels. If you find that the sound is distorted or non-existent, you will need to go into the set-up menu of the TV, and try various different settings until you find one that works - they use a different 'flavour' of PAL encoding to the UK, but most modern TVs can cope with the differences. Older TVs may need a modification 'hard-wiring' in, but I wouldn't normally expect it. |
