If you are in TRNC now call Jeff on 0533 862 1603. He does floors and security alarms. After Sydney Construction finished our house Jeff cleaned and professionally sealed our marble and travertine floors - then polished them. Next polishing is in about 4 years time. Until then just wash/mop with plain cold water. Excellent investment if you do it straight away. Hope this helps. Mention my name, Paul Sinclair

We have a new 3 bedroom house, lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility and a lot of hall and landing. About 160sqm of marble and 40sqm of travertine. Took them almost two days. They use a special machine with wire brushes to burn the polish into the marble. Cost £400 in total. This may be a little high but the transformation was very impressive. Hope this helps.

A cheap DIY solution is to use a wet & dry foam block, with some soapy water. Polish in a moving circular motion, so you don't dig grooves, and always keep the floor & block wet. Mark
