| How much cash (Sterling)can I bring with me personally when I come out to TRNC next time. Flying in via Larnaca from UK. Having a problem getting electronic transfer set up but will keep persevering. |

| do a western union job they charge small fee but do as much as you like and just collect it at other end no probs what so ever. |

| You may be able to bring what you want in but there are rules about how much you can take out through a UK airport. Not sure what it is currently but you can probably check on Customs & Excise website. |

That was not the question asked in message 1! How much can I BRING IN to the TRNC, not what is allowed out of the UK! Anyhow, UK no longer has currency control regulations.

| When our builder asked for money, we were only allowed to take out of the UK £5,000 each cash. We both got frisked and they asked to see the notes. It was all a bit embarrassing.
It wasn't because we told them we were carrying the cash, the bodyscanner 'picked up' the metal in the notes (all 20's) and set off the alarms (we both carried the money in a moneybelt). |

Msg 9 - I am taking the cash out of UK as well as in to TRNC via Larnaca so need to know both. |
