Highlife is a child free hotel nice pool, nice rooms, great view over the ocean at breakfast, a long walk into to town though, in fact it's at the end of quite a long road, so a descent walk to anywhere, but there are a few restaurants within about a 10-15 min walk.

Very nice owners and staff.

Bring sterling and change at a money changer in the town.

hi tracy,

me and my wife and friends are going in august i will let you know what it like when we get back

i have only heard good reports about the hotel

we have been in touch with hotel as we arrive late in the evening

they have been good enough that they will leave sandwiches in the room for us

They seem very friendly and nothing seems to much trouble for them

We all can not wait to get there

Hi Pete,

Yes the son must be getting to you fella, Iv'e been called few names in the past but never Tracy lol !

Who did you book with?

We fly out on the Sunday 5th so got good flight times and arrive at 6pm so gain a extra day in the sun (hopefully)

Not too keen on the walk back from the town but guess there should be plenty of taxi's available.

Have a great time Pete..

Does anyone know of any web sites that show the High Life hotel rooms, cant seem to find anything on the net, as most of the sites just show the exterioir or the bar.

Thanks

Hi

We stayed at the Highlife and found it really nice. The owners are really friendly. They have their own web site.

http://www.highlifecyprus.com/

The room we stayed in was quite large with patio doors and outside table/chairs. Bathroom has bath and shower. Bedroom/lounge didn't have any facilities for cooking but did have a fridge and they don't object to you storing your own booze (some places confiscate your drinks).

We stayed at the High Life last year, staff were friendly and food very nice, only downside for us was that there was no evening entertaiment apart from a TV screen in the bar and the waiter would play a few cd, so we spent quite a lot of money going back and fourth to the Harbour each night, as its just too far to walk on foot.

The room we had was spacious and clean but all the furniture needed updating, had a very 70's 80's look to it.

Pool was very cold when we used it, a nice place to relax but without a car to explore there nothing to do in the area, very near to a main road with litter everywhere.

If you just want to sit around the pool and read a book then this is the place for you..
