Istanbul SAW airport

Can anyone tell me if our friends have to disembark at Istanbul at 7.50am would this be enough time for them to collect their baggage and go book in again to catch the 10.20am flight?



I would appreciate as much help as possible on this please.

Linda, when I went through that airport, both flights were with Pegasus and my baggage was transferred automatically. Going from Ercan I didn't have to check in for the second flight to Munich, but on the way back I did. That was because Pegasus agents at Munich were unable to issue me a boarding card for the SAW/ECN leg.

Thank you. Both flights are with Pegasus and I am still awaiting their phone call to tell me if they have to disembark.

I believe that if it is the same aircraft Linda, they will not have to disembark.

if they are flying the second leg with the same carrier, they will automatically transfer the baggage if required. once checked in at ercan, they won't see it again until they reach their final destination. your friends will probably have to disembark and go through the transit desk into the main terminal until their onward flight is called.

I am praying they won't have to collect luggage etc. Still waiting for Pegasus to phone. Still, it's only been 4 days !

Lindyloos if the start flight which you did not state is from Stansead SAW ERC then you sit on the plane so does their luggage Its the fact that you cannot have a direct ticket to TRNC convention rules

I originally booked their flights Stansted return. I then went to book their seats but cancelled their Ercan/Istanbul flight in error, so I rebooked the same flight. No problem. Then saw a posting on here asking if this could be done. I then realised to my horror that they have, in effect, 3 flights now. Stansted/Ercan outbound and Ercan/Istanbul then Istanbul/Stansted return. I think it might be better to now cancel the first leg of their flight and rebook them on the earlier flight. This will give them 2 hours to disembark and reboard.



Told you it was complicated !



Hence now I won't be making bookings for people anymore. I've learnt my lesson

There's only an hous and a visa to get as well no chance

But as there are two tickets always for the flight is it not just talk to the dispatcher people at Stansted and \ercan and have the onward sticker on the luggage also reserve their seats on line might do it one at £15 each way
