The mains water pressure where we are is very high and a Pressure Reducing Valve is required... anybody know if they are sold anywhere in the TRNC?

This is a rather irritating post. You don't say where you live, and you don't say where you have tried. It's a standard item that any plumbers merchant would stock. Try Mr Pipe. Or Coban Trading.
