There's a ferry from Cesme (which is on the Western edge of the Anatolean coast near Izmir) that takes you to Ancona in Italy. From there it's two days drive back to Calais, or (my preference) Dunkirk.

There are those who've driven up through the Balkans, but i don't think I would fancy that.
