| here's a clue, customs still have mine!! Yes, same rules, don't go there. Unless of course it is a classic, then you need to join the clasic car club to get it in, thay are very helpful and can arrange things with customs. What bike is it?? |

| Thanks Craig, It's well over the 3 years, in fact a 1978 XT500 in peices, bought it in boxes from a mate who had bought it 10 years earlier in boxes, needs a full restore, however, because I hadn't 'owned it' for 5 years prior to shipping, has to come in as a classic, so need membership of the Classic Club (120 quid) etc, etc, so decided at this point to call, it a day, I have the expensive parts still as they were in a seperate box. Thanks anyway, might be on the lookout for another bike at some point. Have seen a few old small Suzukis running about, might try to get one of those as a project. Cheers, Brian |

I have a 400 Honda Falcon very similar to the Honda XL 250s, excellent for the mountain trails, just done a tour of the mountains above Alanya Ispata and arround Fetiyee, had a great time. If your after a renovation job I'll keep an ear to the ground DN |
