trying to connect tv to playstation help needed to work it

can anyone help with getting playstation to work,used the hdmi cable and only sound could be heard

my son bought cables components to both units with no luck

any suggustions please

if it is ps3. turn your tv on to desired channel. then turn ps3 on but when you turn it on hold your finger on the

button until beeps. it should come up on screen and ask you to choose settings.

there's no signal just the sound, with no picture can't get to settings,what about the leads for component does that help to arrive at a picture or is the leads for something else

since the hdmi cable is not doing its part

ok you must connect your hdmi to tv and ps3. only this lead. turn tv to hdmi. then turn your ps3 on, but when you turn it on you must keep your finger on the on button for at least 5-6 seconds.you will hear some beeps. then release the button and wait. it should come up on screen after a few seconds and ask if you want to setup your optimal settings.

Hi Basheer,



If you are connecting via HDMI and it is a PS3 you need to click the input button on your T.V which will go through the channels like AV1,AV2,EXT,HDMI 1,HDMI 2 etc and select the correct HDMI port that you plugged it in so if in HDMI port 1 then select that one.

one last thing!!!!! he wants to go on line with our next to next

there's no password but the playstation needs

the infor from the router to connect

ssid

network key

any suggustions
