I think they want to sort out all the stations that are scrambled they have been one and off frequently over the last 5 or 6 days. Its about time they where sorted or we will be watching bits and pieces off the matches they will be on one minute and off the next

You can watch nearly it of ALL for FREE - no subscriptions - using a SKY box and a Free to view card on a 1.8m dish by watching ITV Central E or BBC interactive.. Same goes for Wimbledon, Formula One .... why pay for what you can get for free ? Those of you with a 4.2m can watch ITV matches in HD

How is it free if you have to pay for 1.8m or 4.2m dish You need 4.2m to get BBC int sports multiscreen because as I've said before it is not on the BBC news ch anymore And latest news ITV HD is no longer available on ch178 even with 4.2m dish it is still possible to get it by adding channel though So most up2date news and as I said hardly free!

Dear techtrader re 8 I hardly think the OP post was merely simply info for existing users.... right?! So.. IF you are in the market for a system to watch the World cup - a system that doesn't rely on cracking encrypted channels .. you KNOW it won't cut out in the middle of the game.. Only one of systems mentioned here allows FREE ( no cost access) to the coverage... I ain't trying to SELL a system

Sorry about the info on BBC Radio5 live, commentary until the last 10 minutes, then went to 'due to contractual reasons this program cannot be broadcasted'! Get your act together BBC! Richard |

First of all sorry for late replies. msg 12. JSC Sport +11 other name is JSC World Cup, or with the oldest name JSC Sport News. The problem with the World Cup today was because of the signal level, which is something to do with the JSC's 11957 (or 11958) frequency. JSC World cup was on and off during the match, Whilst JSC Sport 2 (Nilesat 12284) was showing the match (with arabic commentary) Dopi service system works for unscrambling (or unlocking) the channel, but you get the signal from Nilesat or Hotbird. We know its frustrating but we cant do anything unless JSC sorts out the problem. msg 21 Boss's phone was never off, it was busy. msg 29 where did you get the idea we are working. I am trying to reply all the threads about us, but at the end of the day this is not my customer service page, you cant expect us to reply all the messages here whenever somebody writes.

Very easy. you keep writing against Dopi for two years. and any small problem you hear about Dopi you jump and say "I told you before". A very childish game. Even last year you suggested Dopi will go off soon permanently and customers will watch the wall. LOL. AND And legit subscribers had similar problems today, dont forget we are a legit customer as well.. Now enjoying the match with an Efes, i wish all the Dopi customers enjoying it.

Hi Alan. As i said we understand the frustration. But the problem appeared after the 10th min of the match. As you can understand for us to find out what the problem is and also answering the phones took time. For tomorrow; We are not expecting any problem. At least in our side there was no problem at all.

why would you expect jsc to sort a problem that doesnt exist, furthermore if you rely on a system that is pirate you can not expect it to work all the time. What dopi should have said is sorry to our customers but because we pirate the signal and send to our customers through a band width we get trafic problems also aljazeera are sending out new algorithms to block pirates. i wonder why. Anyway think about it while it is cheaper to buy pirate tv it is a false economy. most bars today had dissapointed customers.

cofeeman. Are you another 6m clone ? 1. there was a problem with JSC's 11958 (or 11957) freq. and 12284 freq for half an hour. 2. Very simple proof for this is JSC's channel on 12284 (JSC Sports2) is a Free to View channel. So it doesn't need 'pirating'. If a fta channel get signal level low that means there is a problem with JSC. 3. 'No signal' means you cant get signal from channel provider. Nothing to do with Dopi Your last 4 message is against Dopi, and you are not a customer. ? Interesting.

as long as Dopiweb customers don't miss the England match today then this is just a glitch. If they did then I'll be taking an extra interest in M6's email to NCFP today. Dopiweb (#49) I believe that all IF customers are being fed a pirated internet stream then all channels will be equally affected if the bandwidth of that stream is put under pressure, as it will during the match. I've no problem with pirates on Pirate Island, as long as ye gets what ye paid ye doubloons for. if possible

Malcolm First of all our system is not a "pirated internet stream". Doesnt require internet at all. therefore it doesnt get affected with any internet problem in TRNC. Also there was no problem in Dopi system, JSC was experiencing problems with their signal level, they apologised during the match also we have just watched a match without any interruption. If you just check please the official website link above, you will see the reason. JSC itself had a problem, may have again before after or during the match but this is nothing to do with DOPI. regards.

yes, there is a problem again BUT its nothing to do with DOPI, I am not giving any excuse as its nothing to do with me. Even alternative frequencies of Nilesat (11240 Vertical) has no signal on Nilesat. JSC is unable to give signal on Nilesat. Please find JSC Sports +9 on Hotbird.

to dopiwebs message regarding me being a clone and not a member of dopi well actually i was for 7 months and lost the system for one month and was promised a reduction but sorry could not wait... So to Dopı if you trust your system why do you take the money in full off your customers why dont you let them pay monthly !!!!!!!!!!! And to all the other members on this forum please remember it is a forum. Therfore allowing others to air their views. Freedom of speach is a simple but very important right. something the Admin should remember.

I was watching Aljazeera news channel yesterday and they were explaining the problems with the coverage.I would just like to say that all the reasons for the disruptions DOPI has been explaining are completely truthful. So to all you people who were saying it was a Dopi problem, how about a BIG apology to them!!Too quick to jump on the LETS SLAG OFF DOPI bandwagon!Watched the england game with no problems!I know they have some disruptions with the service now and again but slagging them off without knowing the full facts is not on.Well done Namik and crew!!

Well said stanley1, There are to many people on this forum who slag off business without having the facts and in the case of Dopi TV who are not customers. I know the guy in the Dopi office spent most of last night responding to customers, even though he had finished work at 3pm, he even missed a birthday party of a friend to stay home to help his customers. So come on give praise to someone who has got his customers who he tries hard too look after. Well done to Dopi

>>First of all our system is not a "pirated internet stream".<< This was a 'classic' I just found.. Yeah, right... >>Doesnt require internet at all. therefore it doesnt get affected with any internet problem in TRNC. << It uses an internet data stream from a satellite transponder dedication to internet downloading to 'illegally' share a legit subscription card amongst many. That is piracy. It was indeed true that the JSC glitch was not down to Dopi.. I couldn't respond - as I was banned.. but that was just *one* night.. You'll notice that eventually 'dopiweb' gave up making excuses as to the rest of the issues during the world cup and as the problems continued. I'm waiting to hear that this is all 'my fault'.... and would remind a certain mod that this happened EXACTLY as I predicted.

Dear Mr Ted re 77 OF COURSE they could put it right, but it will cost money and time and they'll have to keep throwing money / time at it.. The reception of the channels is fine, the problem is the decryption of the scrambled channels.( the unscrambling).. Normally this is done by a card in your satellite receiver - and if it is a card that is paid up it will allow access to the channels Dopi have this card and then share it's rights with many people ( i.e. they pay once and charge many times over) using a third satellite connection - which should send the data codes needed to allow you to see the channels. When pay channels don't open / freeze - this is because the data necessary isn't reaching your receiver.

Ozangirl. I'm afraid mmmmmm is spot on. I spoke to Dopi last week -they told me they were waiting to activate the Showtime card which covers quite a few channels including Sky News/BBC Entertainment and many others. They are useing bayram as an excuse and the card will not now be activated until Monday 22nd of this month-if at all. Frankly -I agree with mmmmmm this is all about money and their failure to pay and as a subsequence their customers are getting a rough deal service. I think they are winding down knowing the writing is on the wall. Bes

re msg 80 >>I spoke to Dopi last week << you were 'lucky' >>they told me they were waiting to activate the Showtime card which covers quite a few channels including Sky News/BBC Entertainment and many others. << This can be done with a phone call or via the net .. 5 minute job -- the cost of the sub is about two clients annual fees ... The end is nigh, and the lack of 'dopiweb', 'nickdavisons'and the various clones countering my 'fibs' / prophesies is telling.. When they DO go under it will be 'MY fault' and probably the clients for not 'renewing' !!! ( Sorry, I forgot the 'unusual sun activity' )
