I get out of my bed when the sun comes up which now appears to be around about 5am. But my TC neighbours are always up and about before me. I guess the next question that is allied to this is what time do you all go to bed. For me it is around 2200/2300 hours generally but if we have visiting guests then it is a lot later but boy do I suffer the next morning. AJ

Early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise, how does this old saying fit in with yourself AJ and your TC neighbours? I go to bed fairly early to watch my telly, approx 9pm, this is so I dont have to watch blasted football every night! I rise around 5.30, but usually awake at 4am...... I love the dawn chorus.....

AJ, between 04:30 and 05:30 whilst it is still darkish and cool, best time of the day - can even get my own back on the chickens by waking them up now and again - bonus!!!

I get so much more done if i can get up early (being 9ish) The problem I have is that for 25 years I have run restaurants, clubs and bars so have never got home before 1 am and never in bed before 2 or 3 so my body clock is set to get up at 9 or 10 or 11 am and i have never been able to kick it, thats why my posts are quite often early am such is my life, my dawn choruses are when I am getting in from a good nite out LOL

With a good set of shutters it stays dark in the bedroom until you choose to let the sun in......normally around 8.30ish. Best thing we ever bought!!! Compass

I'm so glad I'm not the only person that wakes up so early, usually around 4 am then doze until 6 when I give up trying to sleep properly and get up. Yes my Cypriot neighbours are up by then. I have been getting up at 6.30 since I did a paper round at school, and then working was the same time, so I guess it's a bit hard to change my pattern now. Also I've always gone to bed early around 10pm, then like to read for a while.
