| NOW,, We were assurred that if we paid our stamp duty and registered our property with The Land Registry, that our deeds would be safe from any further encumberence. That is not so. We appear to have a legally binding "memorandum" on our property supported by the full force of the law. (It appears that the debt was for £14000 and the balance is for court costs and interest, and interest continues to accrue) You may well think, "what a mess" what can I do? Very easy Mr President. Instruct the courts that a "registration" outranks a "memorandum" exactly as we were promised under the Estates Agents Law And fair play, honesty and integrity will be seen to be the basis of your Government. No encumberances means in The TRNC....just that |
