| Police in London have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of having sex with a sheep. Metropolitan Police detectives raided the man’s house in Dulwich, south-east London, after his DNA was matched to a pair of grey jogging bottoms found at the scene of a reported bestiality incident. The arrest follows several complaints made to police about a man molesting sheep on grassland in Chislehurst, Kent, in May and June. According to the Daily Telegraph, two joggers became suspicious when they spotted a man pulling up his trousers as he stood near a sheep that was lying on the ground. A stable girl who came face to face with a man during a similar incident also contacted detectives. When officers arrived at the scene they found the pair of jogging bottoms lying next to a sheep. The Daily Telegraph also reports that police are also investigating claims that the suspect took photographs of the animals before the attacks. Penetration of or by an animal is illegal and carries a sentence of up to two years imprisonment. |
