It's not the end of the world. You're level on points with the US and need to beat slovenia. Heck if the US beats algeria and you beat slovenia by more you'll still win the group.

Hubby is so fed up with this crowd of losers who call themselves England. I am told that there are no passing skills, no team work - who are they going to beat? The South American Teams are out to win - England players are just strolling in the park on very high salaries, no need to work hard as they are paid over the odds! Sue.

Mon last had the privilege of a chat in Tesco Car Park Stowmarket with John Wark (36 goals in one Season for Ipswich as a midfield holding player and 27 for Liverpool, more than legendary striker Ian Rush, plus 2 goals in 3 WC games for Scotland). He is genuinely supporting England but felt a lack of passion, willingness to sweat, and not being blessed from birth with a football brain might be their undoing. Manufactured by coaching and team instructions not enough. Having watched the TV tonight in TRNC and witnessed Emil Heskey run at a defender and stumble 3 times attempting stepovers before brainlessly appearing in defence and attempting to dribble the ball out of his own penalty area I could not help wishing I was back in Tesco car park gaining tips from John Wark to pass onto Capello ! Let us all hope that being booed by their own fans causes them to approach the next match like a Cup Final and not turn to sulking which evidently was the reaction of Rooney as he left the pitch.

Might this go someway in explaining how the game went. 'Rooney cocky as he undermines Algeria ahead of Group C clash Wayne Rooney arrogantly predicted that England would beat Algeria even if they do not play at their best. His confidence in their doomsaying has angered the Algerians and gone some way towards fuelling them to prove him wrong. Rooney said: "Against Algeria we can not be at our best and win the game." He went on to admit though that the only player he knew of in the Algeria team is Portsmouth defender Nadir Belhadj.' Bougherra, though, insists Algeria will do everything they can to cause a major upset. "Rooney can say what he wants," he said on BBC Sport. "It's his problem. We will play to win this game. We want to qualify as well. Algeria always react when we are under pressure. Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz added: "England are the team under pressure. They are the ones who claimed that they came here to win the World Cup.

I think the England team should be forced to sell their houses, cars and their wive's clothes to pay of Britain's debts. There should be some money left over!!
