Does anyone have any idea how much it costs to run a/c units, mine are arcelik and the one in the bedroom is a 12000 btu and I turn the sleep mode on. The others are 9000 btu. I realise I should have got the newer units but a/c was installed by my builder when I was in England

It depends on a lot of factors, including what temperature you are trying to achieve and the ambient temperature. You should allow non-inverter a/c units of 9-12000Btu to consume about a kWh.

I have it set on 25 degrees, so if it consumes 1 kwh, would it make much difference if I increase the temperature

The lower you set the temp, the more electricity you will use, and vice-versa.
