You could try the Bosch shop in town. They are very helpful. 0392 815 6878 Get them to write down their charges though.

A word of advice in this country it is best to use the company who make that model as they stock all the parts. We have had problems in the past as other companies cant get part and dont know the product as well as the company who make them. Our fridge went the other day and we called whirlpool we explained to them what happened they came out with the part and replaced there and then, job done. We tried someone else who was recommended and they came and couldnt repair it. Same with our aircon as well.

re Msg:5 There are very few companies selling white goods in north Cyprus with a service dept & qualified technicians.. Whirlpool is imported by Toros, so they do have service dept which covers the wide range of products they sell, but you can't say the same for most of the others....They usually give the repair jobs to the cheapest cowboy technicians they can get hold of. One other fact is, most of importers do not even bother to import spares for the products they sell. The main spare parts for refrigerators/freezers such as timers/thermostats/compressors/fan motors are universal, so unless the appliance requires an unusual part, there is no problem.
