| Hi,
I was hoping that maybe some body here will be able to help me. My family has two Kocans for property in Cyprus and we are looking to sell as we live in Australia. The Kocans are Pre 1974 and they are Turkish. Are there any embargos in place regarding sale of such properties? I need to know as much as I can before my family book a flight to start the whole process. We have been told that we cannot sell (?) i think the turkish Kocans may be for land in Southern Cyprus, but im almost positive it is for Northern Cyprus..
Your help will be grealty appreciated.

| ok, so what your saying is that yes, we can sell them? they are large lots of land, since leaving there has been developments on it - without our knowledge, my grandmother went back a few years ago and saw it so maybe thats why she is scared of selling. Basically she owns a whole street and then another smaller plot of land... |

| If it was mine and I wanted to sell it/them and I also have the title deeds to prove,I would not hold for another second.You must alsdo remember that,the longer you wait,the harder it'll get.

| On the kochans both north and south the references are ordinence survey maps references.
If you can get an ordinence survey map of cyprus then you can fine out exactly where your land is. |
