All set to be a very good game on Sunday against the old enemy, lets hope that both teams put on a good show..... if England can give the forwards more of the ball they will win. !!!!! in-ger lund in-ger-lund in-ger-lund

( incant kill him me as sadly he his dead) i left my love for fotball when i moved to wales and took up my love for rugby . sport brings us all together we must embrace it. I wanted england out for very selfish reasons to get customers back but I have to say the way they played today im with them all the way xxx

As the USA & England finished joint group leaders with identical stats, I think they should toss a coin to see who faces the next opponents...

I have a feeling you all ready know this and it was another funny from you Groucho but just for those non-footy people who might be wondering, the USA and England did not have exactly the same stats. USA scored more goals in total then England so they go through as top of the table.

It is an interesting point though, if they had been on exactly the same stats including goals scored and conceded, how would they decide who is top. Does anyone know?

Paul, I see so the table should really be extended to show goals for and against rather than goal difference. I genuinely stand corrected...

-------------W----D----L-----GD----Points

USA--------1 2 0 1 5

England----1 2 0 1 5

Slovenia---1 1 1 0 4

Algeria-----0 1 2 -2 1
