A Turkish Airlines plane has just left Ercan heading North over Girni to Turkey
The flight path for in coming is different and we don't tend to hear them coming in in Ozankoy |

| My aunt was due on a flight from Ercan to LGW this morning. Yesterday she was informed that the LGW wouldnt be flying but if she got to the airport at 0200 she should be able to get on to the Stanstead flight. They went to the airport this morning as advised and were told that there would be no UK flights at all today and turned away. |

| Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, AtlasJet are all fine. It's just CTA that's gone down the toilet. |

Why, do you think planes are dedicated to hanging around for passengers who can't check-in and pass through security? Airlines have schedules to maintain, and those planes may have another 6/7 sectors to fulfill today before they finish service. So yes, they would be flown empty. |
