I drove past it yesterday and it looked like the State Penetentiary, complete with guard towers on each corner.

Hi All,

My name is Ayla - Marketing manager at the Cratos Premium Hotel*Casino*Port*Spa.

I would like to give you some information about our hotel.

Cratos Premium Hotel is privately owned Premium Hotel, located by the beach, 5 minutes away from the centre of Kyrenia. We have 410 bedrooms, Spa, Ball room, Casino, Irish Pub and Port Cratos offers different concepts for different tastes with its restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, beach, outdoor and indoor clubs for 24 hours and music entertainment.

Our hotel will be opened towards to end of July 2010. Once it finishes, I would be delighted to show our facilities to you and your friends .

Our hotel will be the economic contribution with its big investment to Northern Cyprus and offers job opportunities.

Jennifer Lopez has chosen our hotel to celebrate her birthday. In the meantime, the grand opening of the Cratos Premium Hotel will be on 24th July 2010 and will entertain approximately 3000 guests.

Have a lovely weekend!

I bet nearby residents will be wanting it to shut up what with 24 hour clubs and music, not to mention the 3000 guests at the opening.

How well timed is it for the speed limit outside Cratos just to have been upped to 65Km from 50Km just before it opens!!?

Does anyone know if this hotel is built on GC land, because my GC friends down south will not like it one bit. It will be on their list of no-action. Few emails here and there and then they will relax again.

Good Morning,

The organization will be set on the beach which is located below the hotel and will be isolated so the music will not effect people living close by. Most of our entertainment will be located on the beach using the soundproof system. Our land has been made with 100% Turkish capital. So no need to worry.

Have a lovely day!

Thanks for that Ayla it's re-assuring to know we should be able to get to sleep without ear plugs!

Hope the opening goes well.

Can I ask why there is not a Union Jack British flag amongst the flags on the poles at the entrance?

I would be glad to see it open instead of a derelict building on the coast line. I for one will be going in and having a look at the facilities.

Regarding noise in that area, I don't think anyone can beat the noise coming from Dolca Vita Restaurant, Octopus Park and The Grove. Basically get use to it or move out, we live in a tourist location and it is to be expected. We have lived in that area for the last 4 years and I quite happily sing along especially when "Sweet Caroline" comes on, what a sad life I live LOL.

But seriously good luck to everyone at The Cratos and I wish you all the success.

Well I've looked at it, & I can't see an English section

They probably don't think that British can afford it ... & the way the exchange rate is going, they're probably right!

Ayla

Good luck with the opening in July.

I am a megga fan of Jon Secada who I believe will be performing at the Cratos.

I rang the hotel in the chance that tickets would be on sale to non guests and I am so disapointed to find that it is by invite only.

Any chance you could sneak me in the back door as I am not on the guest list!!

Am willing to accept an invite though!!....nicely please.
