I have heard a rumour that Ercan Airport staff are due to strike on Saturday. We have visitors booked on Turkish Airlines at 5am to Manchester via Istanbul. Can anyone confirm this rumour? Advice please, on what to do if that is the case.

Just dropped friends off there,no sign of a strike or many people for that matter !!!



Saw several CTA staff wearing smiley badges (in my dreams)....

Im sure if your visitors are unable to fly into Ercan they will find out PDQ from UK and let you know.

Planes are flying north from Ercan ones just gone over to Turkey fact not rumour

The only true rumour I can confirm is a bar called Rumours in Ozankoy

YK661 is expected at Manchester at 10:15, from Dalaman and then out again at 11:45. That's according to the airport live feed. This is strange, considering CTA is supposedly not operating. Nothing moving in and out of Stansted though.
