can you still buy a video recorder in the north

i want to transfer some movies on to dvd via my laptop but need a video recorder to play back the originals are they still available to buy?

I've seen combination video recorder / player / dvd recorders, but it was in the South - Carrefour etc.

We put one in Amanda's auction- it didn't sell so they still have it, they are open 10-4 . They are open as a shop until the next lot of auctions
