On another north cyprus forum it has a post up regarding this forum being passed over to AJ, !!!!



As the donation site has not been updated, the people who have donated are beginning to ask where is Izzet. Please can AJ answer if this is a hoax or has he become the new boss of this forum.....

Who cares if Izzet runs it, or if someone else does? I donated to keep CYPRUS44 going, not for any particular person to run it. I've nowt agin Izzet, he done a good job in the past, but no one is indispensible.

If Izzet is too busy with other things, probably to earn a proper income, then understood.

Last e-mails I had with Izzet I had he admitted that he rarely has the time to browse the forum these days and with his description of the funding requirement fo 44 he obviously has to prioritise what makes him the money to survive. You can't knock someone for that.

From some of the recent events on here I think it has been pretty fair in adapting to the requests of the members to a point, so I don't think it matters who is in charge as long as it keeps running the way it is.

Well said Spider, I have no interest in seeing mine or anybody elses name as a donator however it would be nice to see the total of cash donated if only to see if there is enough to keep the forum going, after all, if you donated to keep it going and it failed you might feel out of pocket.

It is interesting to read now and then about the people that complain that the forum is not run correctly but that they did not donate to something they obviously feel strongly enough about its organisation but not strongly enough to keep it going.

I am refering to the people who state on the forum that they will not or have not donated hattikins, I have never looked at the donations list because I am not interested to see who has donated or even who hasn't.

I was pointing to the people who almost proudly it seems state that they haven't.



It's a bit like me complaining about the tax laws in the UK, I choose to live in a situation where I am not required to pay tax but seem to find myself complaining about the UK tax system. If I don't pay, why should I complain, can't help myself I suppose.

I am not taking over the running of the board.

Izzet also has moderator duties and all he has said is that he can now no longer read through the threads and messages or answer e-mails directly from members which is why he is asking them to contact forum admin directly.

Cyprus44 is not just a forum and there are other things that Izzet needs to work on.

With regards to 'that' e-mail, I think someone is playing silly games and I have asked Izzet to forward me a copy of the original.

Re-read my last posting again about some one playing silly games.

Read message 23 and read it completely. This a standard message sent out by Izzet. See if you can spot the difference between that one and the 'original' one. Hence someone playing silly 'games'

The original that was reproduced on another board just had my e-mail address and not the forum admin e-mail address so it 'appears' as though a member on this board that received the standard e-mail altered and posted it or either passed it on to someone else who then altered it and posted for all to see. I have my suspicions but will have to do a bit of investigative work.
