Been before, but we didn't see anywhere to eat. I know there's the little place on the beach, but we're looking for a 'proper' meal if you know what i mean. Is there anywhere at the karpaz like this. If not we're going to book the 140tl for the hut, breaky and dinner, but we know the dinner isn't all that good.

Anyone know anywhere in the Karpaz which does a good dinner??

It's a big place but the Vine Terrace and Deks in Yeni Erenkoy get good notices

Hi, Just been there this past weekend and these two places are always on 'my list':

Manolyam Restaurant in Dipkarpaz Village-incls 5 free mezes with any main course.

Alevkayali Restaurant in Yeni Erenkoy-fresh fish daily incl many local varieties that I've never come across. We've always been served the 'local pancakes' as desert- very moreish!

Also Villa Carparis in Dipkarpaz village -www.villacarparis.com for some where 'new' to stay, I know they do dinner but we didn't eat there.

Be aware 'Seabird beach'- past the Monastery now charge 10TL each for a sunbed ONLY- no brollys or cushions!

Enjoy

UPNorth, we don't like fish but the first place you mentioned, Manolyam, sounds good. I'll have a look at Villa Carparis as well.

We're going to be staying near somewhere close to turtle beach & Burhans so we won't be needing to use any sunbeds, especially for 10tl ! Thanks for the info.

Forgot to say, we want to eat somewhere close to the very tip of the Karpaz, we were going to take a small bbq with us but we thought about it and neither of us are going to want to cook when we get there after the 2-3 hour long journey!

About 10 mins before Golden Sands there is a beach with some huts on stilts. They also serve food. Have eaten there a few times for lunch and found it OK but never been at night. We dont tend to eat much at lunch but alot of people we know use it.

Sorry I should have mentioned that Alevkayali do Cypriot cuisine -kebab, lamb chops etc.

Livana,Kocareis,Blue Sea,Tekos, Big Sand, all after Dipkarpaz village-just drive on the main road and you can't miss them,I think possibly Seabird is the nearest to 'the tip'.

Oasis at Ayfilon on the opposite side.

You can drive to the 'tip', altho its all track so an off road vehicle is the best or drive carefully in a saloon car.We didnt do that trip this time so not sure on the condition of the 'road'.

Enjoy
